First Congregational Church of Lincoln, Maine
United Church of Christ
Welcome!
We are the
First Congregational Church of Lincoln, Maine.
We're located at 19 School Street in the small town of Lincoln -- a town surrounded by rivers and lakes in the heart of Penobscot County

Our church was organized on August 28, 1831, just two years after the town was incorporated. Our church building was dedicated on November 18, 1851, and has been upgraded, enlarged, and even moved in the course of our history.
Our faith heritage descends from the Pilgrims and Puritans who escaped religious persecution in England. We are Christian, Reformed, and Trinitarian in belief. Today we are affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
Our people are friendly and welcoming, our faith is alive and enthusiastic, and our mission is loving and serving.
